Meet the team

As a formally constituted community group, #WeMadeThis is headed up by a five strong committee. Find out more about them below.

	Jane Hawes Chair A #WeMadeThis stalwart, Jane is the area lead for Pearson Park & Princes Avenue. She also hosts our monthly committee meetings, and is Chief Roper-Inner at our Maker Days. Craft-wise, Jane will try her hand at anything, but particularly enjoys painting wooden shapes.
Janet Adamson Secretary A former head teacher, Janet has plenty of experience in both making and leadership. Since retiring, she’s not exactly slowed down, and is involved in a number of other groups and local charities as well as #WeMadeThis. Janet likes all kinds of making and likes to find new ideas for every project.
	Helen Everington Treasurer Helen joined us for our first project, when she headed up the Bransholme RAF Christmas tree. When she’s not looking after her children and granddaughter, Helen looks after our pennies, a skill she acquired whilst running a community café. She enjoys crochet and other needlecrafts, and is an especially keen knitter.
Jacqueline Coates Member Multilingual Jacqui has been a member of the Pearson Park & Princes Avenue area group from the beginning, and is a prolific crafter – a large number of the #WeMadeThisSpring garlands on Princes Ave and in the park were hers! She especially enjoys facilitating our Maker Days.
